[b]Algemene informatie[/b]
Call of Duty: Black Ops is het zevende deel in de bekende Call of Duty-franchise. Het spel verschijnt op 9 november 2010 in Europa voor de Xbox 360, Playstation 3 en de PC en is in opdracht van Activision ontwikkeld door Treyarch, dat eerder Call of Duty: World at War ontwikkelde. De game verschijnt later ook op de Nintendo Wii en de Nintendo DS.

[/i][spoiler]Call of Duty: Black Ops vindt plaats tijdens de Koude Oorlog. De speler heeft voornamelijk de controle over twee personages: Alex Mason en Jason Hudson, beiden deel uitmakend van de [i]Studies and Observations Group[/i]. Het team voert onder meer in het Oeralgebergte, Laos, Cuba en Vietnam missies uit. Fidel Castro, leider van Cuba, zal een cruciale rol speler in de singleplayer campaign.[/spoiler]
