Het 3e Grand Slam van het jaar komt er al weer aan! We zijn klaar met gravel en stappen over op het heilige gras! Het 1e Grand Slam toernooi van het jaar, De Australian Open, werd verrassend gepakt door Novak Djokovic. Het 2e Grand Slam, Rolland Garros, werd een prooi voor favoriet Rafael Nadal. Voor het 3e Grand Slam van  het jaar is Roger Federer weer de grote favoriet. De 5-voudig winnaar van dit toernooi heeft hier al niet meer verloren sinds 2002.

2007:

World No. 1 Roger Federer clinched a record-equaling fifth consecutive Wimbledon title after defeating arch rival Rafael Nadal 7-6(7), 4-6, 7-6(3), 2-6, 6-2 in an all-time great final at the All England Club. Federer equaled Bjorn Borg�s five consecutive Wimbledon titles between 1976-80, in three hours and 45 minutes � the third longest Wimbledon final of the Open Era.
